Nomisma: in 2018 house prices recorded a reduction of 0.9%, rents (+ 0.1%) grew compared to the previous year

With reference to the 13 Italian main cities markets, in the second half of 2018 real estate values ​​confirmed the mitigation trend of the recessionary effect, with variations now close to “zero”.

On an annual basis, house prices suffered an average reduction of 0.9%, while the rental fees for the first year interrupted the decline with a slightly positive average change (+ 0.1%).

With reference to the preliminary forecast for 2018, there has been an increase in domestic sales and purchases (+ 11.1%) compared to the average performance of the 13 largest markets (+ 3.1%).
