The property is in Borgo Filaga in the Municipality of Prizzi (PA), in Via Marchese Arezzo no. 18, and consists of a plot of land with a surface area of 536 sqm on which stands a building with a built-up area of 130 sqm. The property is part of a larger complex consisting of eleven buildings, constructed around the mid-20th century and intended for the families of workers of the former narrow-gauge railway that connected Lercara Friddi to Palazzo Adriano, passing through Filaga.

The building, with an L-shaped plan, consists of a single floor above ground with a load-bearing masonry structure and a gabled roof with Marseille tiles, in fairly good condition. The facades are characterized by exposed sandstone blocks with window and door frames highlighted by plastered frames. The internal layout features three rooms, an entrance hall with a small toilet, and a kitchen. The appurtenant outdoor area, of approximately 400 sqm, is currently uncultivated.

Borgo Filaga, approximately 7 km from Prizzi, is located in a valley at 828 m asl, surrounded by mountains over 1,000 meters high. It is a small rural village, built on the ruins of the ancient Byzantine farmhouse of La Filaca, along one of the communication routes between the territories of Palermo and Agrigento, in the heart of the Sicani Mountains. The Prizzi area is characterized by agricultural, wooded, and natural landscapes of considerable environmental value; the historic centre of Prizzi retains a medieval urban layout, with narrow streets, ancient palaces, and many religious buildings. In addition, the archaeological sites in the municipality, including necropolises and prehistoric settlements, testify to its thousand-year-old history.
