The building was built at the beginning of the 20th century, along with an out building, with its main façade on Via Fratelli Brancondi and a secondary front on Via Vanvitelli. It has three floors above ground and two under ground on the side Via Vanvitelli, and it’s currently divided into six housing units. The ground level of the main façade has a decorative upholstery of smooth ashler, while the other floors are plastered and painted. The bearing structure is in brick, the ceilings of every floor are mostly wooden while the roof has a wooden structure and a tiled mantle. The estate is currently available but has to be completely restored. Even though it isn’t under any cultural restrictions, it’s in the town’s historic centre and is under the conservation regulations of the current municipal P.R.G. Projects have to be aim at conserving the building, particularly it’s original parts, as well as improving it’s architectural qualities and functionality. The allowed purposes it can have are: residential, commercial, public service, service craft or an accommodation facility, such as a hotel.

The building is located in the historical center of Loreto (pop. 12,814), in the Province of Ancona (pop. 476,192), known worldwide for the Basilica that contains the sanctuary of the Holy House and considered the capital of the Marian cult. The town, surrounded by a sixteenth-century stronghold and walls, expanded around the sanctuary of Nazareth’s House, which according to tradition was transported here by angels in 1294. The hilly territory is excellently accessible by the A-14 Motorway (Bologna-Taranto), via the “Loreto” toll-booth which is 3,5 km away, as well as by expressways (SP-77, SS-16). The railway station guarantees connections with the cities of Ancona, Pescara, Ascoli Piceno, Bologna and central Milan and is 3 km from the building. Ancona is 26 km away, Macerata 25 km, San Benedetto del Tronto 65 km and Ascoli Piceno is 100 km away. The coast is very popular during the summer and Loreto is less than 7 km away from Porto Recanati. The nearest airport is Falconara Marittima (480,000 passengers in 2016) which is 33 km away.
