The building, owned by the State, is divided into two aboveground floors with a rectangular layout and is made of load-bearing masonry, with a pitched roof and a covering of tiles and pantiles. The structure measures approximately 8.00 m x 5.00 m for a gross covered area of 80 sqm and has an appurtenant external area of 290 sqm with a regular quadrangular shape and a flat layout. The building, built around the mid-1950s and originally intended as a railway signalman’s house, is now abandoned and unused.

 

 

The property is located in the semi-central area of San Cesareo (population 16,045), a municipality included in the territory of the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, on the north-eastern slopes of the Alban Hills, at 315 m above sea level, along Via Casilina, and is 29 km away from Rome. The building is located within the town of San Cesareo, in a semi-central area characterized by low-density residential construction, with gardens and vegetable patches; the building is 900 m away from the town hall and 2.5 km from the “San Cesareo” motorway exit (5 minutes by car), the nodal point of the national motorway network, where the A-1 Milan-Naples meets the A-1 Rome South. The area does not have a train station, however, the property is 10 minutes away from the Colonna and Zagarolo railway stations, on the Rome-Cassino and Rome-Frosinone regional railway lines, both with high transit frequency.
