The Villa Arrigona project consists of enhancing a historical, architectural and environmental context of great value, dating to the first half of the 17th century, in the Basso Mantovano. The residential complex, consisting of 20 units equipped with every comfort, is intended for the elderly or singles, couples or small families. Besides small flats for self-sufficient people, there are also rooms for convalescent guests. Social sharing spaces are provided in the central area of the building. A gymnasium and a medical laboratory will also be built. An added value will be the restaurant open to guests and the public, the large agricultural park, the garden and the church. The main body of the Villa is completely restored, while the annexe will need further work.
The project proposal consists of the enhancement of a historical, architectural and environmental context of great value. It is planned to build a residential complex for older people or single people, couples, or small families. According to the project plan, the result is 20 residential units equipped with all comforts, with various layouts and planimetric consistency. Accommodation with single or double rooms, up to a maximum of four beds, with one or two bathrooms per unit, besides the living area. The residential units will be developed on the ground floor and first floor of the east wing in the buildings that are subdivided into the Villa. There are also rooms for convalescent or respite guests. Everyone, guests and visitors, can use the Villa services to provide spaces dedicated to social sharing (library with reading room, music room, conference room, games room, gymnasium, medical clinic).
Important will be the functional restoration of the restaurant\bar with rooms and related services.
The particularity of this project is the possibility of creating a space not only for residential use but also for sharing, a sort of community to give guests the possibility of continuous relational interaction between inside and outside.
Added value to the quality of life and residency will be linked to the possibility of access to the park and the various related activities (zero-km organic vegetable garden, fitness trail, sport fishing, various recreational activities).
