The real estate complex, built in 1903 and activated by the Navy in 1925, is made up of two distinct buildings and a large connected area.

The main building of rectangular shape, was originally made up of housing for the personnel placed on the ground, first and second floor and accessible from the main room, and the lighthouse, separated from the rest of the building, situated on the second floor and communicating with the floor above through a metal ladder. The lighthouse structure is positioned on the covered floor of the small tower and is accessible through the vertical metal ladder anchored to the bricks. The connected building, articulated on two levels and of reduced dimensions, was used as a deposit and cooking area with a tank to gather water. A portion of the main building, made up of the lighthouse and signal beam, is currently is use to the Military Administration.

The Municipality of Siniscola has formally committed itself to approve a variation to the current urban tool so as to put the property in requalification. The area on which the buildings are constructed are subject to a landscape and environmental restriction, while the buildings, declared of cultural and historical-artistic interest, according to Legislative Decree n°42/2004, are subject to the previsions of Part II of the same Legislative Decree.

The property is situated in the Municipality of Siniscola (11,531 inhabitants), in the Province of Nuoro (210,531 inhabitants), in the locality of Capo Comino, along the north-eastern coast of Sardegna. The naturalistic interest of the locality, its beaches, the crystal clear and precious sea-beds, have made it a famous touristic destination.  The lighthouse of Capo Comino is situated along the granite rocks of the coast, near the promontory with the same name that gives the name to the entire area, in an exclusive and uncontaminated position looking out onto the sea, is well served by the transport network. At about 2.5 Km, there are the first residential and agriculture areas, while the urban centre is about 12.5 Km from the property. The airport of Olbia-Costa Smeralda (17th Italian airport with 3 million passengers in 2018) and the Port of Olbia are both about 50 km from the zone.
