The "Parco degli Olivi della Consolazione" is a green area of about 10 thousand square meters located near the "Tempio della Consolazione", in the historic center of Todi. The area is bordered to the south by the Ciuffelli Einaudi Institute (headquarters of corporate IT systems, construction-environment-territory and tourism courses ) to the north by the Rocca Park, to the west by the Berverly Pepper Urban Park and to the east by other municipal and private property. In August 2023, work began on the construction of a pedestrian path, at the end of which the area was recognized as being of historical and artistic interest pursuant to Legislative Decree 42/2004.

This is a particularly significant work due to the strategic position of the area, between the Bramante temple and the Martiri di Nassirya staircase, behind the Einaudi Institute and downstream from the Rocca Park, which is owned by the municipality. The land is characterized by the notable presence of olive trees, hence the name given to the park; the area constituted the first farmstead, in 1863, of the Agricultural Colony from which the current Agricultural Institute originated.
Its proximity to the Beverly Pepper Park is also worth noting, which connects the Consolazione area to the Rocca, the Temple of San Fortunato and the heart of the historic centre. Furthermore, due to its suggestive landscape setting, the area has been included as a Green Gallery within Todi’s candidacy as the Italian Capital of Contemporary Art 2026.

The Park is located in the central area of Todi (population 15,588), in the province of Perugia, and lies in an urban green area between the Rocca di Todi Park, located upstream, and the Einaudi Institute and the Temple of Santa Maria della Consolazione, downstream; the western side is surrounded by the ancient city walls that descend following the slope of the hillside. Todi is easily reached by private vehicle by taking the A-1 motorway (Rome-Florence) to the “Orte” exit, then continuing along the SS-675 and the SS-3bis. Terni’s railway station is 42 km from the area (35-40 minutes by car), while the Umbria-Perugia “San Francesco d’Assisi” international airport is approximately 45 km from the historic centre of the town (40-50 minutes by car).
