The area is situated in the north-east part of the city, over Spina 3 and beyond Piazza Baldissera, near the railway station of Rebaudengo, between Corso Venezia, Corso Grosseto, Via Sempione. There is a project to construct there the line 2 of the underground.  The functions provided for are minimum 65% residential, maximum 5% ASPI (activities and services for people and businesses), maximum 30% tertiary.

In 2019, FSSU signed the «Protocollo di intenti» with the Municipality to update the PRG forecasts on the 7 abandoned railway areas, including ” Spina 4 Rebaudengo”. FSSU has also organized the Workshop «Rail City Lab» which has collected proposals for the transformation of the areas, then sent to the Control Room for approval in the City Council.
