The estate, called “Production of Milk Power – Former Interprovincial Union of Milk Producers of the Provinces of Treviso and Venice cooperative society a.r.l.”, is located in the Sant’Artemio locality of Treviso, on the northern outskirts of the Venetian city. The building borders to the north-east with theVia Lancenigo, to the south-west and north with other properties and to the west the Limbraga River. Along Via Lacenigo, it’s completely enclosed by a wall of prefabricated blocks of cement, while it’s partially surrounded, by just a metallic net held by iron poles and a cement foundation, along the northern perimeter and on the Limbraga River. The uncovered area is partially used as parking lots, storage space and complementary buildings, while there’s an unkempt part that surrounds the purifier next to the Limbraga River. The total surface area of the lot is 6.933 m² and the current urban planning intends the area to be redeveloped and restored (buildable mc 10.426).
The property is located in the northern outskirts of the city of Treviso (pop. 83.772), head town of the Venetian Province with the same name (pop. 892.353), a touristic destination, also because of the food and wine, in particular the DOC and DOCG wines like Prosecco and the typical products of the trevigiano territory. The city offers remarkable historic and artistic attractions, such as the Piazza dei Signori, with its Palazzo dei Trecento and the elegant Loggia dei Cavalieri, and the Cathedral that holds the Cappella Malchiostro, the Pordenone frescoes and the altarpiece with the Annunciazione del Tiziano. The estate is easily accessible by car, guaranteed by the local road Lacenigo, by the SS-13 and SP-92, that quickly takes you to the “Treviso Nord” toll-booth on the A-27 motorway (Mestre-Vittorio Veneto-Pian di Vedoia), which is 4,5 km from the area. The local railway station, on the Venice-Udine line, guarantees connections with the cities of Udine, Venice, Rome Termini, Conegliano, Belluno and Trieste, and is 5 km from the estate, while the airports of Treviso “Sant’Angelo” (with 2,6 million passengers in 2016) and of Venice “Marco Polo” (with 9,6 million passengers in 2016) are respectively 7,5 km and 35 km away.
