Lauri Villa is located along the communal road of the Macello, in the municipality of Valdobbiadene, accessible also by Via Roma. The historic building was built at the beginning of the previous century, with three floors above ground and a basement, accentuated with a clear formal typological connotation of historic interest. It’s completely fenced in and surrounded by a vast garden, partially used as a parking lot. It’s rectangular layout is interrupted at both ends by two transverse buildings emerging from the main façade, emphasized by the gap left to accommodate a large terrace on the second floor. To the east of the villa is a building that will be demolished as it doesn’t meet current earthquake regulations and is very restricted in what it can be used for. Neglected for a few years, the building’s in mediocre conditions and needs considerable restoration; a restoration plan for improvements has been approved by the Municipality of Valdobbiadene with sanction n. 133 on the 11/09/2012. From an urban point of view, it’s in zone “A – Historic Centre”, subject to residential, commercial, office, wine cellar or tourist-accommodation.

Lauri Villa is located in the historic centre of the Municipality of Valdobbiadene (pop. 10,388), in the province of Treviso (pop. 885,847), one of the richest and most industrialised provinces in Italy, a town known worldwide for the production of high quality wine. The beauty of the landscape, with a marked agricultural trait, in particular winemaking, has still managed to maintain its rural identity, without being influenced by the typical “development” dynamics of many productive areas. Near the town, is the National Park Bellunesi Alps (46 km) and the Regional Park of the Friulane Alps (82 km). It’s 38 km from Treviso, 80 km from Benice and 38 km from the International Airport “Antonio Canova” of Treviso-Sant’Angelo (2,600,000 passengers in 2016). It’s easily accessible and reachable by the SR-384 (Feltre-Treviso), the SP-248 and SP-55; the “North Treviso” toll-booth on the Alemagna Motorway A27 (Metre-Belluno) is 40 km from the property. The closest railway station is Central-Treviso, 34 km away with trains to Padua, Venice, Vicenza, Udine and Trieste.
