On 27 March 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Municipality of Voghera for the development and regeneration of the areas, with the definition of the new functions within the Territorial Zoning Plan, with attention to the logistical potential use and other sustainable solutions.
The properties undergoing redevelopment are located in the semi-central area of Voghera (property 38,710), in the province of Pavia, and are part of the city’s former freight yard, now abandoned. The assets enjoy a strategic position, due to their proximity to the motorway system and the potential connection to the railway system. The “Voghera” exit of the A-21 motorway (Turin-Brescia) is located approximately 4 km away from the area and allows connection to the A-7 (Genoa-Milan) and A-1 (Milan-Naples) motorways. The area is located near the passenger train station, which guarantees connections with the cities of Alessandria, Asti, Genoa, Livorno, Piacenza, Milan and Ventimiglia.
