Student housing, new envisaged functions

Posted: 11 April 2018

The most recent student houses, to increase the potential viability, often put alongside their envisaged functions other complementary ones, like as residencies for short term workers, small commercial activities and co-working offices, hostels and low cost hotels.

According to an analysis by Patrigest on a sample of 25 student houses, distributed on all the national territory and managed by 5 different principal operators, it emerges that the 56% use part of the structure as an hotel.

On the sample it has been evaluated that the 30-35% of total beds in the mixed-function structures is addressed to low cost hotels.
